What a maintenance visit can cover
Every home and system is different. We discuss the equipment you have and the work appropriate for it. A visit may include checking airflow and filter condition, thermostat operation, accessible coils, condensate drainage, and system performance. We explain the scope before work begins and discuss any repair findings separately.
Plan around the way you use your system
Houston cooling equipment can run for long stretches during warm weather. Preparing before the busiest cooling months, and checking heating before cooler weather, gives you a chance to address concerns. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s maintenance schedule; call us if you need help finding or understanding it.
Small habits between visits
- Check your air filter monthly and follow its replacement instructions.
- Keep furniture and storage clear of return grilles and supply vents.
- Keep the area around outdoor equipment clear as directed by its manufacturer.
- Note unusual sounds, water, ice, or changes in comfort.
Our guide to changing your air filter explains why filter thickness, pets, dust, and system use affect the schedule.
Does maintenance guarantee no repairs?
No. Preventive care can identify concerns and help keep the equipment operating as intended, but it cannot prevent every failure. If the system is already blowing warm air or showing ice, tell us when booking so we can discuss a diagnostic visit.
How should I prepare?
Have your system’s model information available if you can, tell us about recent problems, and make the equipment accessible for the visit. Call or text to discuss scheduling and what your system needs. We explain recommendations in English or Spanish.
